The City of Tucson sought an inclusive public involvement process to inform the development of an updated master plan for its Parks and Recreation Department. Gordley planned and staged multiple public meetings, eliciting input to inform the update, and conducted extensive intercept surveys at public venues and events, a strategy that yielded more participation than did standard public meetings. Data gleaned through this outreach informed the master plan and also our development of a social media plan to help the City reach and engage more of our community.
