Gordley Group, an award-winning graphic design and advertising agency, is seeking a talented, creative and passionate professional to join our team. In this position, you will wear multiple hats including web, video, print, and digital projects for a diverse array of clients.

There is significant room for growth in this position. This is an in-office, full-time, 40-hour per week staff position.
Ability to work under the creative direction of both the Creative Director and Art Director
Collaborate with other graphic designers
Creation of compelling and engaging UX/UI design with Figma and/or XD, development, and maintenance of responsive, brand aligned, CMS-based websites (Wix, WordPress, SquareSpace, Drupal) that are optimized for speed, accessibility, analytics and SEO.
Digital content creation, including video editing (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Animate)
Develop creative concepts and execute creative strategy through research, client objectives and team input
Design and layout of a variety of print materials
Keep up with evolving design principles and trends in the market
Meet deadlines
Work within a budget
Manage multiple client projects from start to finish at one time
Establish and maintain project status in Asana (a work management tool, training available)
Interact with clients directly, presenting projects in a clear and thoughtful way
Rock solid experience in digital design and CMS
A strong eye for visual composition and typography
Willingness to tackle challenging projects and proactively master new technologies
Resourceful and solution-oriented
Proactive and works well with others
Takes complete ownership of projects, you know your work is essential to the creative team and you never drop the ball
Effective time-management and organizational skills
Detail oriented and high-quality work
Experience with preparing art for print production
Degree in graphic design, or a related field
Minimum three-year’s experience working as a web designer; agency experience a plus
Expertise in Adobe Suite, as well as some knowledge of Microsoft Office
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
This position requires 40 hours per week in office. Performance of duties and tasks using standard office equipment, including work at computer terminals. Must be able to do some lifting and packaging tasks. Some local travel may be required.

Position Objective
Responsible for the overall management of the Company’s accounting functions and routine needs. Maintain the company's financial functions and records.

Accounts Payable
Manage the input of all direct transactions and accounts payable.
Prepare payables for all vendors and employees’ expenses.
Ensure W9 forms have been collected as necessary for vendors.
Billing and Accounts Receivable
Manage and process monthly billing invoices for all clients.
Follow up on all outstanding invoices to ensure aging balances are reasonable.
Payroll
Submit semi-monthly payroll information and ensure payroll schedule and taxes are handled appropriately.
Review quarterly and annual payroll tax returns.
Prepare and distribute all annual 1099 tax forms.
Assist new employees in preparing financial documents required for employment.
Submit/manage new employee paperwork.
Review all employee sick/personal time, vacation and unpaid leave time.
Work with outside consultants on the administration of employee benefits.
Contracts, Licenses, etc.
Assist department directors and account managers with various project startup efforts, including research on client/project contracts and assist with required financial documents.
Review client contracts and obtain necessary insurance certificates.
Prepare and manage annual certificate and business license renewals.
Monthly Financial Functions
Reconcile monthly checking account.
Perform all monthly and annual closing activities, transmitting closing reports and information to the CPA firm for review and finalization.
Analyze accounting system reports for accuracy.
Provide information to assist the management team in making financial determinations and decisions.
General
Assist management personnel in fostering teamwork within the office.
Support management personnel, human relations manager and staff with basic HR functions and information
Assist Operations Director with special projects as needed.
Education and Experience
College degree preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with General Ledger knowledge necessary.
Some human resource experience preferred.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Possess the ability to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including computer and adding machine.
Have the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 lbs.; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and good hearing and speaking abilities to communicate in person and over the phone.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and basic knowledge of
Microsoft Word. Have knowledge of general ledger software and the willingness to learn proprietary software package, Control-G. Knowledge of Control-G a plus.
English usage and grammar are consistent with company standards.
