The Sun Corridor Metropolitan Planning Organization provides transportation planning services to the communities of Casa Grande, Coolidge, Eloy and select portions of Pinal County, a territory covering 1,115 square miles. As a recently formed organization, Sun Corridor MPO had not successfully solidified and defined its brand within the region nor its public outreach methods, materials and stakeholder contacts.
Gordley worked with Sun Corridor MPO to define the planning agency's core attributes, which formed the basis of its brand elements. The first effort was the development a logo reflecting the progressive nature of the organization as well as the element of movement inherent in transportation. Then came incorporating the new brand into business papers and materials.
Our next project was to provide the public outreach that informed Sun Corridor MPO’s first regional transportation plan. We engaged the public in traditional and interactive ways; staged public information meetings; compiled stakeholder contacts, provided news releases and advertising notifying the region of the project and provided required Title VI materials in English and Spanish
Gordley successfully defined and developed a brand identity that is now well recognized in the region and we continue to engage their communities in important transportation studies.
