To help address the critical nursing shortage in Tucson and Southern Arizona, Pima Community College received grant funding from the Arizona Department of Health Services. Our team was brought in to create a 30-second commercial that would not only increase awareness of the college’s nursing program, but also inspire action.
We centered the story around a recent graduate—someone who experienced the program firsthand and could debunk long-standing myths, like the false rumor of a waitlist. In just five weeks, he entered the CNA program, began working in the field, and eventually had his continued education funded by his employer. His story became a powerful narrative thread to highlight the fast-track opportunities and real-world support students receive.
The commercial combined this authentic testimony with emotionally resonant visuals that captured the heart of nursing: compassion, resilience, and purpose. We also showcased the college’s new, state-of-the-art facility—emphasizing the modern, hands-on training environment.
The result? A highly engaging spot that delivered both practical information and emotional impact—reaffirming the college’s role as a responsive, student-centered institution preparing the next generation of healthcare heroes.
