Southwest Gas Corporation selected Gordley Group to assist them in strengthening and further building positive relationships with the Arizona and Nevada communities they serve. Over the past three years we have collaborated with Southwest Gas to directly address public concerns related to numerous project improvements and construction through public outreach and community relations. Our efforts have included door-to-door outreach, direct mail notifications, news releases and staffing a 24-hour hotline to field customer questions and concerns and provide information whenever needed. We also designed and placed Southwest Gas’ first digital advertisements to notify residents, businesses, and members of the travelling public of construction project impacts. This outreach brought 670 new users to the Southwest Gas website and increased the traffic on the construction project page by 83%, resulting in continuing use of digital outreach. This campaign has been awarded two Public Relations Society of America Impact Awards.
