OVSafeSteps was a complex multi-channel marketing campaign launched during the height of the pandemic to help the Town of Oro Valley publicize financial aid available to struggling small businesses and persuade wary residents that it was safe to shop locally.
Gordley Group conducted research, developed a marketing plan and launched it in less than 90 days. OVSafeSteps included a comprehensive website, a dual-track digital advertising campaign targeting businesses and residents, and print collateral.
Website analytics tracked over a million impressions, benchmarks for social media were exceeded, residents returned to stores and over $600,000 was distributed to 181 businesses. This major collaboration resulted in the OV SafeSteps program winning a City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA) Savvy Award in the category of Printed Publications – COVID PR.
