TUCSON, Ariz. – Pima Community College (PCC) won a 2015 Paragon Award for a series of print ads designed by Gordley Group. The Paragon Awards, a competition of the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations, recognizes outstanding achievement in communications at community and technical colleges across the country. With awards going to both large, multi-campus districts and small institutions, the council looks for the “creativity, originality and unique approaches to problems solving [that] set the winners apart.”
The ads were part of a comprehensive marketing campaign designed to increase understanding of the value of what PCC offers. The primary message of the ads was the benefits of smaller class sizes, the convenience of online courses, affordability and the development of a skilled workforce through partnerships with regional business and industry.
