Gordley Group, an award-winning graphic design and advertising agency, is seeking a talented, creative and passionate professional to join our team. At Gordley Group, you will be responsible for the strategy, design and implementation of a variety of print, video and digital projects for a diverse group of clients.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer with 2 of those years at an agency. Expertise in Adobe Suite required, as well as some knowledge of Microsoft Office. There is significant room for growth in this position. This is a full-time staff position only.
Ability to work under the creative direction of both the Creative Director and Art Director
Developing creative strategy by studying relevant information, research and materials
Design and layout of a variety of creative materials, including but not limited to brochures, posters, websites, logos, traditional and digital advertising, proposals, fact sheets, direct mail, maps, infographics, trade show materials, and a myriad of other creative projects
Research, sketch and/or illustrate creative concepts for team review and critique
Keep up with evolving design principles and trends in the market
Coordinate and manage the outsourcing of outside creative services such as web designers, printers, and freelancers as necessary
Meet deadlines set by supervisor
Work within a budget
Manage multiple projects and clients at one time
Interact with clients directly and present ideas in a clear and thoughtful way
Assist creative team with brainstorming, marketing and advertising strategies
Work with internal team in obtaining reviews and approvals of collateral materials
Support office team in general ways
A strong eye for visual composition and typography
Interprets internal and client needs by bringing new ideas to the table
Willingness to tackle challenging projects and new technologies
Resourceful and able to research andoffer solutions
Works well with others and actively looks for ways to help

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in related field
Minimum three-years experience working as a graphic designer
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio (5-7 examples only)
Experience with website design, programming, SEO and updates
Experience bidding and managing print jobs
Experience with preparing print-ready art for both print production and media publications
Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, web-development applications, animation, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
This position requires 40 hours per week. Performance of duties and tasks use standard office equipment, including work at computer terminals. Must be able to do some lifting and packaging tasks. Some local travel may be required.
